There is an extensive network of footpaths right on your doorstep so whether you are feeling energetic or just in the mood for a short country stroll Orchard View is the perfect base. The small family run Linton Zoo is just a 5 minute drive away as is Chilford Hall the local vineyard. There are many other family activities in the region including a day at Newmarket races or the Duxford Air Museum with many special event days throughout the year. Try a tour of the Cambridge Colleges or punting along the backs - chauffeur driven for the not so brave. The National Trust has a number of beautiful and historic houses in the area including Wimpole Hall and farm and Audley End House with children's steam railway.
