Holiday Cottages in Essex

Numbers 1 - 4 Orchard View are converted farm buildings at Little Bowsers Farm. The holiday cottages are set in a rural location 2 miles from Little Walden and Hadstock, Essex.

Little Bowsers Farm is a 30 acre working organic farm producing free range organic eggs. 12 acres of organic top fruit - apples, pears, plums and cherries. The orchard planting commenced 1998. Also an acre of organic 'Florence' strawberries.

We have 3 dogs, Meggan, Albert and Zac. Meggan and Albert are chicken dogs and help Kit put the chickens to bed each night. Zac is a black labrador. 2 cats - Thomas and Rough - vermin patrol. At present we have 6 horses DIY livery. All of the animals are friendly.

Children are welcome, but please remember we are a working farm and they must be supervised.

Little Bowsers Farm is in Bowsers Lane. Take the B1052 Linton (Cambs) to Little Walden (Essex) turn down Bowsers Lane around the right hand bend and we are the third set of buildings on the left.

Just in Essex we are close to the Cambridgeshire and Suffolk County boundaries. Norfolk is not far. London by train from Audley End. Absolutely spoilt for choice.

Picturesque Saffron Walden is 4 miles with ample shopping including Tesco (open 24 hours) and Waitrose. Cambridge 16 miles, Newmarket 17 miles, Audley End 6 miles, Stansted 10 miles, Duxford 7 miles.

In the villages close by there are pubs with good food or just to relax, and some of the regions finest restaurants are within a short driving distance - details available on request.
